Wrestling with long-standing feelings of guilt and fear as a result of his sexual dishonesty, Siew reflects on how his queer identity had affected his pursuit for material measures of success. Siew lives a rigidly compartmentalised life, neglecting sleep and health to push himself to productivity, be it in academics, work or fitness.

 

Deluded, he builds himself a suit of armor with the Nutrisoy cartons he expands in bulk everyday, replacements for his biological clock and natural sense of time. If he were exposed for his gross dishonesty, his superhuman ascension would be the compensation.
